About Us
The Woodland Trust is the UK’s largest woodland conservation charity, managing over 1000 woods across the UK with over 100 in Wales alone. Our aim is to create a world in which woodlands thrive for both people and nature. We work tirelessly to protect, restore, and create woodlands, and we rely on the support of individuals and communities to achieve our goals.

ANCIENT TREE INVENTORY
The Ancient Tree Inventory (ATI) is a project that relies on the people to map any historical and ecologically important trees in the UK. Since 2006, the Woodland Trust has managed to map over 233,000 ancient trees with this project. However, we estimate that this likely represents less than 10% of the UK’s ancient trees.
Our Members
We are grateful for the support from our valued partners, volunteers, and donors who have helped us in our mission to conserve woodlands. Their contributions have been instrumental in our efforts to protect and nurture woodlands across the UK.

We want to hear your stories, discussing your nature and beauty of woodlands in your local area so we can share it to the world and help to raise awarness for woodland concervation and the protection of the ancient trees that lie within.
